I stopped driving to work every day. Now I ride the bus. I moved to a bus/walk friendly neighborhood. I have virtually stopped eating fast food (no wasted gas waiting in line, packaging form foods that aren't that good for you and create lots of waist) I eat home made food for lunch at work (the days that I remember to make/bring it) I usually walk the last mile to work.
